Intanon Somboontanasarn
I’m a graduate student in philosophy at the National University of Singapore (NUS). Before this, I was an undergraduate student in philosophy and logic at the London School of Economics (LSE).
My research generally revolves around post-Kantian philosophy, social theory, and literary studies. I am especially interested in the notion of givenness, problems in Heidegger’s later works, cross-cultural dialogue, politico-theological views of cosmopolitanism, weak political ontologies, the poetics of soteriology, and the phenomenology of poetic ecstasy.
I also have an enduring fascination with Simone Weil, Søren Kierkegaard, Georg Trakl, Dōgen, and Nāgārjuna.
I’d be happy to discuss any of these topics at e1374364@u.nus.edu.
